Halloween Already?

Last year for Halloween Baylee wanted to be cheerleader. So I went through all the trouble of buying fabric and took it all to my friend Allison's so she could help me sew. Then "day of" before noon Baylee was fully dressed as an angel...and by around 3 she was ready for trick or treating n a cute little ballerina outfit...Okay so this year I learned my lesson and have been asking for a while what she wants to be... a couple months ago she was pretty consistent with telling people she wanted to be a butterfly...come September on any given day it could have been batgirl, supergirl, or a devil. Well Wednesday October 22nd rolled around and we found out about the elementary school carnival on the 24th(Friday) and decided we wanted to go...uh oh...no costume, not even one in the works. So Thursday morning I showed her the pics of all three costumes on the net and let her pick... I googled pics of batgirl and many pictures of Batman's cute sidekick in a short leather skirt popped up, and Baylee said, "no mom, I just want to be a bat that's a girl." "Oh!!!" SO off to DI for the fixin's of a bat costume for a GIRL. Not to be confused with BATGIRL. What a goofball. Stay tuned...

That is so funny, I forgot about all her different costume changes last year! Silly girl, How do you make a bat look like a girl bat? Hmmmm. Good luck! No I'm not sewing Ben's costume, I had all intentions too, but then I decided its too hard and a 12 buck superman costume from Walmart was much easier. And its cuter. I'm going to post pics tonight from our ward party. Are they going to let kids dress up this year in your ward? Remember how lame that was last year? Ok talk to ya later I'll probably call ya soon, AL
