You know your an Idahoan when...

When you can drive 70 mph through a blizzard and not even flinch.
When you put your Christmas lights up in October because its still warm enough and take them down in April when the snow has melted and you can see that they are still there.
When you know the seasons as Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction.
When its 10 degrees outside and you start to feel like its a little chilly.

I heard these little sayings yesterday and thought they were hilarious, especially because they are SOOOO true. I sent the kids outside to play on Saturday because it was SUPER WARM (42 degrees) and 10 minutes after being outside Baylee told me she was hot and took all her snow clothes off and only had on a tshirt and stretch pants. She is a true Idahoan!

That's cute about Baylee. We just went to Idaho to visit my bro. at BYU-I, I was freezing. I forget how cold it is there. How did we survive going to school there?

So funny and so true! Sometimes I miss Idaho... but I'm enjoying where I'm at :)

That is so funny to me. We used to be more tolerant of the cold. It's in the 40's here and we are cold.

Someone said the same thing about Chicago (almost winter, winter, still winter, construction), but I think it's definitely more true of Idaho. It gets so HOT in the summer in Chicago!

That said, the winters were plenty cold and it got to the point where anything above thirty degrees felt SO NICE. So I can totally understand Baylee stripping down when it's 42 outside! :-)
