About 15 minutes from our house is a place called Egan Lakes. Its just snow run off pooled in the center of the Saint Anthony sand dunes. So because its int he middle of the dunes its not freezing at all. And the best part for any mom is that its no deeper than 3 feet. We had so much fun...but we forgot our lawn chairs so we didn't stay all day, just long enough to cool off and get the kids to love the water...they've been hesitant about the water lately because its all snow run off and FREEZING.
